GENERAL DENTISTRY
General Dentistry is the evaluation, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases and conditions of the body’s oral and maxillofacial region. This includes the diagnoses, treatment, and management of your overall oral health care needs, including gum care, root canals, fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures and preventive treatments and education.

COSMETIC DENTISTRY
Cosmetic dentistry is generally used to refer to any dental work that improves the appearance of teeth, gums and/or bite. It primarily focuses on improvement in dental aesthetics in color, position, shape, size, alignment and overall smile appearance.
NON SURGICAL FACIAL ENHANCEMENTS
These treatments are designed to reduce facial fine line and wrinkles as well as to slows down the aging process. These treatments will include the use of a botulinum neuromodulators known as BOTOX or Dysport. the replacement of facial volume may also be achieved by the use of dermal fillers.

Dr Grethe Koen
Owner and Clinical Clinician
Dr Grethe completed her Bachelors (BcHD) in Dentistry at the biggest dental School in South Africa, The University of the Western Cape in 2011, where she also completed her Diploma in Implantology in 2013. She developed an interest for Facial aesthetics and completed her Advanced training in BOTOX, facial threading and multiple aesthetic procedures. She was also one of Merz Aesthetics trainers, in Facial Dermal fillers.

Paying attention to detail lead Dr Grethe's path towards completing her Diploma in 2015 at The University of Pretoria in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatments) where after she realized that she found her passion in Dentistry.
​
Dr Grethe practiced alongside a Prosthodontist in Pretoria and performed specialized root canal treatments upon a referral basis for other Dentists for nearly 3 years, before opening her own private dental practice in Citrusdal.
